The Last Ship‘s Elisabeth Rohm is set for recurring role opposite Will Arnett in the upcoming second season of Netflix’s comedy series Flaked. Arnett stars as Chip, an ostensibly recovering alcoholic living a meandering slacker life in Venice, California. Serving as an unreliable and increasingly unlikeable mentor to his friends in the recovery community, over the course of season 1 Chip’s somewhat shady past comes to haunt him as his lies and well-intentioned mistakes pile up. Rohm will play Alex, a smart, divorced, working single-mother whom Chip meets at an AA meeting in Santa Monica. They seem to have a mutual attraction. Rohm plays Allison Shaw on TNT’s The Last Ship and will next be seen opposite Jennifer Garner in The Tribes of Palos Verdes. She’s repped by Zero Gravity, Paradigm and Felker/Toczek.
John Marshall Jones has joined the cast of Freeform’s family drama series The Fosters in a recurring role. Executive produced by Jennifer Lopez, The Fosters centers on a multi-ethnic family mix of adopted and biological teenage kids being raised by two moms. Jones will play the wary and diligent Detective Bruckner in the second half of Season 4 premiering in 2017. Jones also recurs on SundanceTV’s Rectify, Amazon’s Bosch, Bounce TV’s In the Cut and Fox’s Son of Zorn. He’s repped by Pantheon and Generate Management.
