As soon as you are ready to meet the Lab puppy of your dreams, we suggest you get on our waiting list, as Country Lab puppies are often sold before birth. All our puppies will be cute; however, when discussing a possible 15-year commitment, being adorable is not the only thing that matters. Puppies all have unique and individual personalities. We can help you choose a puppy that is cute and a great fit in your life.

We never breed for volume sales, only for the best possible lifetime companions. We plan every breeding carefully to bring out the best in the sire and dam — both are tested and certified for hereditary dysfunctional diseases.

We will guide you in matching you with your perfect puppy and offer further advice and training tips.  We withhold the right to refuse puppy placement to any home or situation we feel may be unsuitable. We appreciate your interest and look forward to getting to know you better!

Puppies are Sold with AKC Limited Registration

AKC Limited Registration means that your Country Labs puppy will be registered with the AKC, but no litters by that dog are eligible to be registered. However, your beautiful and unique Lab will be eligible to enter any of the thousands of licensed or member events, including Good Citizen, Obedience, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, Farm Dog, Rally, and Agility!  About AKC Limited Registration.

No Shipping

Country Labs does not ship puppies; we feel it is too hazardous for many reasons.  And we do not sell puppies via the Internet or to pet dealers. You must be physically present to adopt a Lab puppy from us.

No Crossbreeding

We do not crossbreed Labrador Retrievers to make designer dogs, and we do not breed for AKC-disqualifying colors, like silver, charcoal, or champagne. According to the American Kennel Club, only three colors are considered purebred Labrador colors: yellow, chocolate, and black.  Fox red is AKC registered as yellow, a darker version of yellow, and completely DNA tested for Labrador purity.  Any other colors are considered a mixed breed.
