North-East side of the Temple of Kukulcán on Chichen Itza archaeological site, Yucatán, Mexico.

Summary[edit]

Description
English: North side of the Temple of Kukulcán (span. Castillo). This Temple pyramid is located in the large pre-Columbian city Chichen Itza, built by the Maya people of the Terminal Classic period (c. AD 800–900). The so-called Mesoamerican step-pyramid dominates the center of the Chichen Itza archaeological site in the Mexican state of Yucatán.
