Description
Deutsch: Ein gallertartiger Gelegefinger mit mehreren hundert Eiern in der länglichen Variante von ca. 25 mm Länge. Der Laichfinger wurde nachts von einer Zuckmücke (Chironomidae) am Rande einer Wasserfläche ins Wasser gelegt und am Rand befestigt. Der Gelegefinger kann von der Art Chironomus-riparius stammen. Der Gelegefinger wurde für das Foto mit einem Rakel entfernt.
English: Jellylike egg mass sheltering hundrets of eggs in the longish variant of about 25 mm length. The aquatic egg clutch was laid during night by a non-biting midge (Chironomidae) under the water surface and fastened at the margin. The egg mass could be laid by Chironomus rigarius. The egg clutch was extracted from its place by a squeegee.
