Echolette E1000 Ribbon Microphone

$1,000.00 USD
Here’s a rare Echolette E1000 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! In 1966, the Beatles did their “Blitztournee” tour of Germany. Echolette sponsored the tour, and the band used their equipment. Echolette designed this microphone, the E1000 for the tour! Internally, this microphone is the same as a double ribbon Beyer M160 (Echolette rebranded and sold many different Beyer products). Because of the success of the tour, Echolette added the E1000 to their catalogue for a few years but it has been said that they only made 2,000 models of this microphone. Was this microphone used on the tour? We will never know! However, this is an extremely rare microphone that sounds fantastic on drum overheads, guitar amps, vocals, and more. This one comes in the original case with its original clip and a DIN to XLR cable. Grab this rare E1000 ribbon microphone from Echolette!
