Growing Nepenthes Hamata in Central Florida

I have been dealing with Carnivorous Plant Company for several decades.
They are an excellent nursery and offer top notch customer support and many resources. For the beginner or master in growing Carnivorous Plants, they are at the top.
I live in Central Florida and have grown many varieties of plants including over 800 species of orchids and various carnivorous plants.
I have challenged myself by ordering a highland Nepenthes Hamata and attempted to grow it in a completely different environment.
The first plant was delivered almost dead from sitting in the shippers custody for several additional days in the heat.
I contacted the nursery and they promptly sent me a second plant.
They are juvenile plants and if cared for as closely to its natural environment and temperature requirements, I might be successful in allowing this unique and rare plant to thrive in my greenhouse.
Working hard to ensure it's survival and growth in the years to come.
I highly recommend CPN if you are interested in the many wonderful species of carnivorous plants.

High quality, high expectation's!

Ordered the plant on a Wednesday evening and received the plant on Saturday morning. It was packaged with a lot of detail so it was not affected by the shipping at all. Plant came out in great condition and looks very healthy with lots of potential! I do suggest doing your research about the care of this species in order to have a good idea of what’s needed to provide the adequate environment.
