Top 10 Candies of The Month - February

These are the candies our Candyologists have crowned the most popular!

We are back again with a new set of treats that we believe to be the best and hottest products of the month. Tried, tested, and true, each candy selected has been munched on and approved by our team of Candyologists!

#1. Lotsa Fizz Candy Strip

Starting off strong, Lotsa Fizz Candy will have your tastebuds shaking! This sour candy is an old-fashioned Canadian candy classic. This intensely fizzy candy has a unique sensory experience, a sweet hard shell with a burst of flavour in the middle! As soon as you pop a piece in your mouth, you'll feel a tingling sensation on your tongue as the fizz kicks in. It's a sensation that's hard to describe but easy to love.

#2. Popeye’s Candy Sticks

Popeye Candy Sticks are a classic candy every kid can remember, probably the epitome of retro candy, literally in a box. Both nostalgic and delicious, these candies are long, thin white sticks made out of sweet, powdery, chalky sugar, making for a deliciously crunchy pick-me-up kind of treat!

#3. Kit Kat Birthday Cake Chocolate Bar

Kit Kat has brought back a fan favourite to their lineup! The chocolate is creamy and smooth, and the birthday cake flavour is a sweet and vanilla-like taste with a hint of frosting flavour. The crispy wafers add a satisfying crunch to each bite. It is by FAR the best birthday cake-flavoured chocolate in the game. It tastes like cake, and its sweet aroma smells precisely how you would imagine! It is a deliciously sweet and festive twist on the classic Kit Kat chocolate bar.

#4. Curly Wurly Bar

You can never go wrong with a classic Curly Wurly Bar! With a delectable sweet crunch, the caramel-to-chocolate ratio is always perfect. Its fun and squiggly shape makes this British chocolate so unique compared to other caramel chocolates. This month we decided to put our Curly Wurly's in the freezer to see what the rave was all about, and let's just say it did not disappoint!

#5. Razzles Sour Candy

Pucker up and be taken on a sweet yet sour journey with Sour Razzles Candy! 13 Going on 30 best depicts this one-of-a-kind treat. First, it is hard and sweet, then you chew it, and it magically transforms into sour bubble gum! It is one of the best retro candies that provides a 2-1 experience for any candy lover to enjoy. Razzles will forever remain an iconic staple of our childhood!

#6. Trolli Strawberry Puffs

If you’re a fruity fan Trolli Strawberry Puffs are a delicious American Candy! Each bite is fluffy with a marshmallow-like texture that tastes like gummy strawberries. Imagine strawberries coated in tangy-sweet goodness–that’s these gummies! We used these a lot when decorating cupcakes for Valentine’s Day and creating a Valentine’s Day charcuterie board, as they are the perfect shade of pink.

#7. Van Holten's Jumbo Big Papa Pickle

Van Holten's Big Papa Pickle is a delicious and tangy snack that will satisfy your craving for a bold and flavorful treat. This jumbo-sized pickle bursts with a juicy, mouthwatering flavour that will leave your taste buds begging for more. It is the perfect snack for pickle enthusiasts looking for a satisfying and jumbo-sized pickle!

#8. Chewy Lemonhead Pink Lemonade

We were so excited to try this new one! Lemonhead Chewy Pink Lemonade Candy is intense and very refreshing. A retro candy favourite that is reminiscent of sunshine and good times (we can’t wait for winter to be over)! It starts off sweet and then hits you with that lemon-flavoured zing! A wise candyologist once said, “When life gives you lemons, always make pink lemonade!”.

#9. Cracker Jack Original

Cracker Jack is a classic snack that is perfect if you love sweet and salty flavours! It consists of peanuts and popcorn covered in the ideal ratio of caramel. This is one of the most underrated retro snacks–caramelized popcorn. It’s been around since the 1800s, so you know they're doing something right with the recipe!

#10. Ruffles Flamin' Hot Cheddar and Sour Cream

Ruffles never miss with their flavourful chips, Flamin’ Hot Cheddar and Sour Cream is a combo we never knew we needed! This new flavour is bold, spicy, and absolutely delicious. The spicy, cheesy kick is one of a kind and, by far, one of the best Flamin’ Hot attempts. It makes a perfect late-time snack for being bold and trying a flavourful fun chip!
