This 1992 Toyota MR2 Turbo is finished in red over black leather and powered by a turbocharged 2.0L twin-cam inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car was first registered in Missouri and remained in the state until it was acquired by the seller in May 2019. Equipment includes removable glass T-top panels, anti-lock brakes, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood head unit. This SW20 shows under 20k miles and is offered with roof panel storage bags, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Alabama title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Rally Red (3J6) and features fog lights, side scoops, an integrated rear wing, and removable glass T-top roof panels. Clear 3M film has applied to the front fascia, and aftermarket tint has been added to the rear and side windows as well as the top of the windshield.
Factory 14″ wheels wear 195/60 and 205/60 Federal Super Steel 595 tires. Braking is handled by cross-drilled and slotted discs all around, and this example was also equipped with optional ABS from the factory.
The cabin features black leather seats with matching plastics and carpets, the latter of which are protected by MR2-branded floor mats. Amenities include electric windows and mirrors, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Kenwood head unit with Bluetooth.
Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for coolant temperature, boost pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows under 20k miles, of which approximately 250 have been added by the seller.
The mid-mounted turbocharged 3S-GTE 2.0-liter inline-four was factory-rated at 200 horsepower with 200 lb-ft of torque when new. Drive is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle.
The June 2020 Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration and service history in Missouri and Alabama through the most recent entry in October 2019.
