This 1961 Ford Econoline pickup was acquired by the seller in 2021 following a refurbishment reportedly conducted under previous ownership. Work is said to have included stripping the body to bare metal, performing dent repairs, and conducting a repaint in Wimbledon White. Power is provided by a replacement 289ci V8 bored .030″ over which is mated to a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and a Ford 9″ rear axle with a Detroit locker. Additional modifications include an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, an aluminum radiator, a dual exhaust system, a custom driveline, 17″ Chip Foose wheels, interior sound deadening, auxiliary gauges, a custom cold-air intake system, electric fans, and a pop-up tonneau cover. This modified Ford Econoline is now offered with an uninstalled heater unit and a clean Oregon title in the seller’s name.

The truck was reportedly stripped to bare metal before being repainted Wimbledon White in 2013 under previous ownership. Additional work is said to have included repairing damage passenger headlamp area as well as installing a windshield, seals, and weatherstripping. A spare wheel is mounted on a custom slide-out panel inside the bed, which is covered using a pop-up tonneau cover. Scratches are noted on the glass as well as touched-up paint chips on both door edges.

Chrome-finished 17×8″ Chip Foose Legends wheels wear Dunlop Zeon RS3-A tires measuring 225/45 up front and 275/40 out back. The seller notes chrome pitting on two of the wheel surfaces. Braking is handled by a front disc brake conversion with a dual master cylinder, while work performed under previous ownership reportedly included replacing the brake lines, and the front and rear wheel bearings as well as the tie-rod ends and shocks. Additional work included installing a custom bed-slide which aids with weight distribution.

A three-spoke Falcon steering wheel frames a GPS speedometer along with a dashboard-mounted tachometer. The digital odometer shows 145 miles, and total mileage is unknown. The engine doghouse was flared in order to accommodate the replacement engine and allow access to the spark plugs, while additional alterations included installing thermal insulation and dual 9″ engine-compartment cooling fans.
