Generally, it is known as one of the traditional Japanese footwear along with Zori and Setta sandals. Today, there is no custom of wearing geta on a daily basis, but it is popular among tourists as a part of traditional Japanese culture.
These geta are made by gluing Tiger Bamboo in a checkered pattern to paulownia sandals. It is said that the foot feels good and there is little fatigue. The surface of these geta are made from natural bamboo, and the thong is not always the same, so each geta is unique in the world.
These Geta clogs are not mass-produced industrially, but are handmade one by one carefully by skilled craftsmen. These beautiful Geta are great to wear, but you can also enjoy the traditional Japanese atmosphere as a display in your room.
