Samiha Sokar is an account manager at APCO and is based in Dubai. Her area of expertise lies in the pharmaceutical and public health sector where she plays a vital role in advising healthcare clients on public health policy and government affairs.
Prior to joining APCO, Ms. Sokar led the Immuno-Oncology Business Unit at Minapharm Pharmaceuticals, the only end-to-end biotechnology manufacturer in the region. During her time at Minapharm, she was also responsible for leading all strategic communication responsibilities for the biotechnology portfolio.
Additionally, Ms. Sokar held a consultant role at IQVIA. During her tenure, she provided guidance and assistance to numerous global health entities across diverse healthcare projects, including organizations such as The Global Fund, The UK Fleming Fund, the Egyptian Ministry of Health, and Global Biopharmaceutical Companies.
Ms. Sokar’s academic background includes a Master’s Degree in International Health Management from Imperial College London and an undergraduate degree in Microbiology from the University of Nottingham, where she graduated with distinction.
