Been picking at this lately.
I started the base mesh in 3dmax 8, and unwrapped it.
Took it to zbrush, did some blocking out of muscles and added some basic flat colors to see how it looks.
Any and all critiques are welcome.

Well, I feel like I ought to admit that you have some skills, but depending on your audience this could use a lot of work in the concept area. Looking at this ridiculous guy I can’t suspend my disbelief that he would actually be abe to move tose arms around with the inflated muscles that are in their way.
I suppose you’re paying homage to a video game character or something, but it looks too cliche to hold my interest for as much as five straight minutes. If you want to contact me to elaborate or speak about other aspects of the work I’ll be browsing threads where people are working on realistic anatomy.

i really love the baraka, and i myself am a huge MK fan but im just learning zbrush and the whole 3d concept in general, so its great to see how soeone else has improved so much, kinda gives me hope, i posted a sub-zero titled “su-zero” by accident and it got torn appart… but again its promising to see such a great improvement…
