Purpose

A series of renders of a 3D model our group made of famous japanese architect Tadao Ando's Church on the Water. The project was a research study on the spatial design of the building. We used 3d modeling software (3DS Max, Cinema 4D, and SketchUp) for the model, and Adobe Photoshop for post-production effects.

Learning Outcomes

Having some experience with 3D modeling software from home, I was appointed the primary role for modeling/rendering the building. I built the building by scale, monitored render queues, and supported with the post-production in Photoshop. I learned how to use many rendering techniques and tools such as, vray, the use of lighting, and textures.
