Heuchera 'Amethyst Myst' COPF

Common Name: Coral Bells

This beautifully colored Coral Bells has blackish-purple leaves with a silvery-blue overlay and extensive black veining. The plant seems to glow with an "amethyst mist" from a distance, the characteristic for which it is named.

The new foliage is deep maroon-purple and all leaves have rich royal purple undersides. Tiny cream-colored flowers appear on 26 inch scapes, but this plant is grown mainly for its foliage.

Coral bells are easy to grow and blend easily with most other perennials in the landscape. Because of their low, mounding habit, they are often used as edging along paths or in containers. Try cutting a few of the tall flower scapes for fresh bouquets.
