Yao Ming and Ye Li played for China's national basketball team. Yao and his teammates won the gold medals at the 1999 Asian Men's Basketball Championship and 2003 Asian Basketball Championship and Ye the 2004 Asian Women's Basketball Championship. The two athletes got married in 2007 and had a daughter in 2010.
