Gorokan is a suburb of north-northeast Sydney in east New South Wales and has a population of around 7,100 (47.2% male, 52.8% female). Around 1946 families live in the area and of those 37.5% have one or more children under the age of 15. 24.6% of families have only a single parent while 40.5% of couples have no children. Gorokan covers an area of approximately 305 hectares (754 acres).
