Daniilidou's rise into the world's top 20 has been incredible.
The 20-year-old Greek was virtually unknown before last season but, in June, collected her first WTA Tour title with consecutive wins over Amelie Mauresmo, Justine Henin-Hardenne and Elena Dementieva on 's-Hertogenbosch's grass.
She followed that by producing her best performance in a Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon, where she was eventually halted in the fourth round by Jennifer Capriati.
Daniilidou continued her progress this year by winning the first tournament of the season in Auckland, saving two match points in the final to seal her second career title.
She then equalled her best Grand Slam finish at the Australian Open, but will be hoping to go at least one step further at Wimbledon.
