Climatogram for the city of Budapest, Hungary
Performance Objective:
- This climotogram was created to show the average precipitation and mean temperature annually for the city of Budapest, Hungry.
Reflection:
- The image above is a Climotogram depicting the mean temperature an average precipitation for Budapest, Hungry. I created it in Microsoft Excel and it it beautiful!
- I learned that the whether in Budapest is not so different than the whether here in South Carolina. I also learned how to make a Climotogram. I do think it is odd that they get so little rain.
- Budapest, Hungry, (the city shown in my Climotogram assignment), is located in the temperate grasslands biome. Human activities in Hungry, particularly in Budapest, have eaten away at the natural populations of plants and animals in the area. Sill, one can still find several deciduous forests, where deer and pigs are the dominant animals and the grasslands (lowlands) are inhabited by rodents, hares, partridge, and pheasants. As one may assume, grasses are very common in the grasslands and various pine trees make up the deciduous forests. Abiotic factors such as whether often define a biome because the abiotic factors determine what biotic factors are able to live in that area. Biotic factors such as rodents and trees are the ones we commonly notice because they are alive or have once lived, but abiotic factors such as rivers, marshes, and the sun also play an important role in the ecosystem because they are what allows the biotic factors to survive.
